It is COLD outside. Now I know what older people mean whenthey say they can feel the cold in their bones. I peeked out and my car is a frozen piece of ice. Can't I just stay home?

Been a long month already and I'm so tired I can barely think. Wish I was on an island somewhere where nobody knows me, just laying in the sun with a cool breeze blowing.

Checked out my communities...thebluebloods and detroit_1_8_7 have a few posts though I thought they would be doing better. new_hawaiifive0 looks dead, must be another community for the series that's thriving.

I'm co-maintaining a new Hawaii Five-0 community, come join!!!

The DVD set of Moonlight is on sale. I saw it last night and HAD NO MONEY ON ME TO BUY IT. I was so mad, I'd just ran into the store for bandaids and milk and just had enough for that in my pocket, just my luck.

My new favorite show is Harper's Island, a murder/mystery show which came on after CSI last night. Katie Cassidy and Jim Beaver from Supernatural are in it. Check out harpersislandtv for more info.

This morning I caught a couple of episodes of The Clone Wars that I'd missed, including one with new character Cham Syndulla. I found syndullas_way which has a little information about him.

It's POURING here with 100% predicted for tonight and tomorrow. Rainy days make me so sleepy. Everything we were supposed to do tomorrow has been canceled already so maybe it's a stay home and read kind of day.:)

Moonlight is currently filming new episodes to round out its first season a little more and we should see the first one on April 25, 2008 (pushed back from the original given date of April 11), same day and time slot. It's also possible there may be rerun episodes in April, particularly on April 18.

There's still no word on a definite renewal for the show for the fall season so it's very important that everyone tune in to the show when it airs, whether it's a rerun or new episode.

From http://www.buddytv.com/articles/moonlight/moonlight-poststrike-return-pu-17151.aspx:

"While Moonlight has earned satisfactory ratings for the network and consistent viewership numbers, CBS has not yet awarded the series with a renewal. Last December, CBS president Les Moonves said that the show is likely to return for a second season, while TV Guide's Matt Roush recently gave fans a ray of hope by noting that the network would not have gone through the trouble of putting the show back into production if the series will be canceled anyway. Roush also pointed out that a renewal could be given if the upcoming installments perform as well as – or even better than – the earlier episodes."

My poor neglected journal!

I've had the whole week off from work and nothing much to show for it except for a little extra reading and sleeping and hour or so later than usual. I suppose I am more rested and relaxed than I'd been before though.

Last night we went to one of the kid's baseball game. It wasn't an official game just one to get them all comfortable with playing. Both sides need a lot more work but they looked like they were having a lot of fun.

Yesterday I read "Dead Wrong" by J.A. Jance. It's one of the "Joanna Brady" novels and has been out over a year but somehow I'd missed reading it though Jance is one of my favorite mystery writers. Last Monday we stopped by WaldenBooks, me with not enough money to do much with but isn't that how it usually goes. There were 5 or 6 Indiana Jones paperbacks that I wish I could have bought, I didn't even hear about those being out. I found the last Star Wars Insider which apparently my local stores have stopped carrying.

I seem to have no favorite music at the moment, nothing's really caught my attention yet, so I've been listening to older songs.

Who watched Moonlight last night?!! If you missed it you really missed a treat. I love watching Mick, he's a bundle of nervous energy and he's so funny racing around with his shades and trying to avoid the sun glare. Beth is falling for him hard, whether she'll admit that or not. And the end! I won't say what it was and spoil it for anybody but it was really...uh...interesting. The young killer vampire was suitably icky, they really made him unappealing. The next show is definitely a can't miss one too...Beth will be showing us a new side of herself.

Have you ever had the urge to get in the car and just start driving and not stop until you're as far away as you can get? Today is one of those days.

Right off the bat this morning we had a nasty encounter with someone who apparently has very bad things going on in his life and decided to take it out on us. That's always a good way to start the day, don't you think? Fortunately he got spooked by several other people coming in and decided to leave or we'd all be down at the local police station ironing the mess out. I think I should get a bonus with my paycheck this month.
